Flik ("we", "us", or "our") is a product of The 36th Company Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Flik Chrome extension and web service.

Information We Collect

When you use Flik, we collect:

• Video recordings — screen and/or camera recordings you choose to create and upload
• Audio — microphone audio captured during recordings if you enable this feature
• Video title — the title you optionally provide for your recording
• Usage data — view counts on shared videos

We do NOT collect:

• Personal account information (no sign-up required)
• Browsing history or activity outside of recording sessions
• Any data from your screen or camera without your explicit action

Camera and Microphone Access

The Flik extension requests access to your camera and microphone solely for the purpose of creating video recordings. This access is only active during an explicit recording session initiated by you. We never access your camera or microphone in the background.

Screen Recording

The extension requests screen sharing access only when you initiate a recording. You choose which screen, window, or tab to share. We never capture your screen without your explicit action.

How We Use Your Data

• To store and serve your video recordings via secure cloud storage (Bunny.net)
• To generate AI transcripts of your recordings (via Deepgram)
• To provide shareable links to your recordings

Data Storage and Security

Videos are stored securely via Bunny.net, a CDN and video streaming service. Transcripts are generated via Deepgram's API. Both services maintain industry-standard security practices.

Share links are publicly accessible to anyone who has the link. Do not share sensitive or confidential information via Flik.

Data Retention

Free tier videos are retained for 7 days. Pro tier videos are retained indefinitely. You can request deletion of your videos at any time by contacting us.

• Deepgram — AI speech-to-text transcription
• Railway — backend hosting

Children's Privacy

Flik is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
